Android 11 Update Roadmap "leaked". Here's when eligible Nokia smartphones will get Android 11 update

Being part of the Android One program, Nokia smartphones come with a promise of receiving two major Android OS updates and three years of monthly security patches. Nokia Mobile has always kept its promise and has updated eligible devices to the latest Android releases as soon as possible. Android 11 is already here and we were waiting for Nokia Mobile to release the update schedule for eligible Nokia smartphones which is "officially" here, kind of.

Nokia Mobile has accidentally released the time frame of when different Nokia smartphones will be receiving the Android 11 update. But the accident has given us the information we all wanted to know so here's when you can expect Android 11 to arrive on your Nokia smartphone.

• Nokia 8.3 5G, Nokia 2.2, Nokia 5.3 and Nokia 8.1 will be receiving the updated between Q4 2020 and early Q1 2021.
• Nokia 1.3, Nokia 4.2, Nokia 2.4, Nokia 2.3 and Nokia 3.4 will get the update between the months of Jan-March which is Q1 2021.
• Nokia 3.2, Nokia 6.2 and Nokia 7.2 will get Android 11 between Q1 2021 and early Q2 2021.
• Nokia 1 Plus and Nokia 9 PureView are the last in the line to be receiving the Android 11 update and the update will arrive for these two smartphones sometime in Q2 2021.

Do note that these are just estimated time frames (also not yet official as the tweet by Nokia Mobile has been deleted) and Nokia Mobile might make changes or the updates can get delayed.

This update roadmap also gives us a clear hint that the upcoming Nokia 6.3, Nokia 7.3 and the flagship Nokia 9 series smartphone (if it's really going to be launched) will come with Android 11. 😃
