Nokia Mobile is focussed on strengthening its position in the United States and we recently saw some new budget devices Nokia C5 Endi, Nokia C2 Tava and Nokia C2 Tennen launch for Cricket Wireless. Now, a new budget smartphone for another US carrier Verizon Wireless has just popped up on Geekbench.
The device is Nokia 2V Tella and by the name, we can tell this will be a budget device. The "V" in the name also suggests it could be for Verizon Wireless just like the Nokia 2V launched last year. The Geekbench listing reveals the phone runs on Android 10 and is powered by a quad-core MT6761 aka Mediatek Helio A22 processor and coupled with 2GB RAM.
Not much is known about the device but the processor and RAM are the same as on the Nokia 2.3 which was launched in December 2019. This makes me think the new smartphone could possibly be a variant of international Nokia 2.3 launched as Nokia 2V Tella in the United States for Verizon Wireless.

We don't know exactly when the phone will be launched but it should be coming soon.
