Nokia Mobile just launched its latest smartphone Nokia 4.2 in India. Nokia 4.2 is a new series and will sit between the Nokia 3 series and the Nokia 5 series of smartphones. It is a budget smartphone but brings quite a few unique features such as the breathing LED notification light integrated into the power button and a dedicated Google Assistant button placed on the left side of the phone. Another new addition is Face Unlock which is now present on new Nokia smartphones. This is also the 1st time a Nokia branded phone bears the number 4 in its name.
Nokia 4.2 is an Android One device and comes with Android Pie out of the box. It is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 processor octa-core processor. Nokia 4.2 comes in two memory configurations; one with 2GB+16GB memory and another with 3GB+32GB memory. At the front, we have a 5.71" HD+ display with a Selfie Notch which is tiny and just houses the 8MP front camera. Nokia logo can be found on the bottom chin and earpiece is tucked far at the top edge. Nokia 4.2 comes in sculpted glass design with 2.5D curved glass both at the back and front of the phone.

At the back, we have a dual camera setup with a 13MP autofocus primary camera with f2.2 aperture and a 2MP fixed focus camera with an f2.2 aperture for depth sensing along with PDAF and LED Flash. Just below the camera is a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.
Nokia 4.2 Price and Availability
Nokia 4.2 is targetted at the offline market and will be available for purchase in two colours - Black and Sand Pink for Rs.10999/-. The phone will be available exclusively on official Nokia Mobile website for the 1st week starting from 7th May and will be available from all major offline retailers across the country starting 14th May onwards.
