Nokia TA-1109 was first spotted passing the Chinese CCC certification in April along with TA-1099 after which we never heard or saw anything about this device. At that time, a source at nokibar forums said that the device will come with two different processor variants (Qualcomm and MediaTek). Nokia Mobile launched the TA-1099 as the Nokia X6 powered by a Qualcomm SD636 processor in China last month but we still haven't seen the MediaTek variant.
Just yesterday, TA-1109 passed the Bluetooth certification and the listing revealed that TA-1109 is powered by a MediaTek processor and has Bluetooth 4.2. Nothing else is known about the device yet.
We are not sure what this phone is. It could be the variant of Nokia X6 with MediaTek processor or the recently leaked Nokia 5.1 plus which is also rumored to come with a MediaTek processor. Whatever it might be, one thing is sure, the TA-1109 is a Chinese variant as it has been certified by the Chinese CCC certification agency and it will be launched in China and if this is the Nokia 5.1 plus then it should also have international variants.
