It's a new month and its time for Nokia Mobile to start rolling out Android Security patches for this month to all their Nokia Android devices. Starting today, Nokia Mobile has rolled out the May Android Security patch for their last year's Nokia 5 and Nokia 6. The update is 137.8MB and 138.3MB in size for Nokia 5 and Nokia 6 respectively.
Many users in India have started receiving the update on their devices and our Nokia 6 has received the May Android Security update as well.
The update is rolled out in a phased manner and could take some time to reach your device. You will be notified once the update is available for your device. You can also manually check for the update by going to Settings > About Phone > System Update.
Whats new in this update
This update for both the devices i.e. for the Nokia 5 and Nokia 6 just brings the Google's May Android Security patch. You can find more about Google's May Security update at Android Security Bulletin.
