Nokia 1 is targetted towards the people who are still using feature phones and the 1st time smartphone buyers and hence the low price tag. Many featurephone users in India still trust Nokia for their strong and sturdy devices and there is no other tier 1 brand which is currently selling Android smartphones at this price point. Nokia of old was present in every price range be it ultra low-end or the premium and Nokia 1 can make many feature phone users switch to the smartphones just because of the trust that Indians have on Nokia devices.
