HMD Global has just launched their super affordable Nokia 1 smartphone running on Google's Android GO platform which is specially designed for low-end hardware. With Nokia 1, HMD Global has also revived the Xpress On covers which will be available in different colors and you can swap them to change the look of your device.
Don't assume by any means that Nokia 1 is a cheap device. Nokia 1 may be the lowest priced Nokia smartphone that will go on sale pretty soon but the device comes with a very good feature in this price range and that is IP52 Drip protection which shows that HMD Global is giving their 100% when it comes to the build quality of their devices and staying true to Nokia legacy of building durable phones.
There is one more small but a very useful and important feature that is not present even on some mid-range devices. That is the availability of basic sensors. Nokia 1 comes with Proximity Sensor, an Ambient Light sensor as well as the G Sensor which add a bit more value to this phone.
